Great Adventure, the third winner on the programme for the Pitman stable
- The sixth day of the 2026 Polytrack season was an Industry meeting but carried added stake money with $22,000 maiden races and $32,000 rating races.
- The Matthew & Michael Pitman team dominated with three winners, PROSERVE, VOGUISH and GREAT ADVENTURE. Jack Taplin, Kavish Chowdhoory, and stable apprentice Ohara Najib shared the riding.
- Another Riccarton Park trainer Meg Cuneen prepared HOLDEN to win the Rating 65 sprint for her father Paul with Amber Riddell riding the second of two winners on the programme. In doing so she further cemented her lead on the national apprentice riders table.
- West Melton trainer Nayton Mitchell trained two winners BAGGIO in the 2200 metres maiden and DIMAGGIO in the days feature the open sprint over 1200 metres. In doing so he took an equal lead in the national Gavelhouse.com Newcomer to Training Award.
- Former champion jockey David Walsh ended the day with the outstanding winning strike rate of 5.58 after AYUMI won the 1200 metres maiden under highly promising Te Awamutu apprentice Ashlee Strawbridge.
