Membership of the Canterbury Jockey Club

We invite you to make an application to the Canterbury Jockey Club for Membership.

Share with us in the unique excitement that is Thoroughbred Racing.

Membership Applications are now closed for 2024/25 and will reopen in 2025 for the 2025/26 racing season.

Benefits

Complimentary admission to the course and use of Member Areas for all racemeetings held at Riccarton Park. This provision embraces the Ground Floor and Level One of the Club Grandstand, pedestrian access to the Show Gate Reserved Car Park and any other area that may at times be reserved for Member use.

Three entrance tickets to all Riccarton Park race meetings. Includes the NZ Cup Meeting & Grand National Festival of Racing
Free racebooks except over Festival & Carnival Weeks
Complimentary parking in the Members' Carpark. (This does not refer to the Show Gate Reserved area)

Note: Young Members are under 30 years and receive 2 tickets for their fee of $155 once the initial joining fee/season has been completed
Annual City Member fee is currently $225 per season once the initial joining fee/season has been completed

City and Provincial Member

Members receive the same privileges as City Members, as well as invitations to all Provincial Racemeetings

Young City Member (under 30 years)

Young Members receive similar privileges to City Members. Members and one Guest ticket to all racemeetings.

Provincial Member

For regional racing from North Canterbury, Amberley, Hororata and Riccarton Turf, at Riccarton Park.
