Membership of the Canterbury Jockey Club

We invite you to make an application to the Canterbury Jockey Club for Membership.

Benefits

Complimentary admission to the course and use of Member areas for all race meetings held at Riccarton Park. This provision embraces the ground floor and level 1 of the Club Grandstand, pedestrian access to the Show Gate Reserved Car Park and any other area that may at times be reserved for Member use. 

  • Three entrance tickets to all Riccarton Park race meetings. Includes the NZ Cup Meeting & Grand National Festival Of Racing.
  • Free racebooks except over Festival & Carnival Weeks.
  • Complimentary parking in the Members' Carpark. (This does not refer to the Show Gate Reserved area).
  • Use of the “Members Only” Beaumaris Room
  • Reciprocal rights with various other racing Clubs in New Zealand and Australia (some conditions do apply)
  • Members' e-Newsletter 
  • Special Members-Only offers
  • Note: Young Members are under 30 years and receive 2 tickets
  • All privileges apply to any other Clubs that race at Riccarton Park
  • Annual City Member fee is currently $225 per season once the initial joining fee/season has been completed.

Members receive the same privileges as City Members, as well as invitations to all Provincial Racemeetings
Young City Member (under 30 years)

Young Members receive similar privileges to City Members. Members and one Guest ticket to all racemeetings.
Provincial Member

For regional racing from North Canterbury, Amberley, Hororata and Riccarton Turf, at Riccarton Park.
