- The Riccarton Park Polytrack season continued on Thursday 27 June with a nine race Industry day card.
- Polytrack specialist DA VINCI GIRL recorded her fifth win on the surface and sixth overall winning the Christchurch NZ’s Happiest City Rating 65. Stable apprentice Abdul Najib rode the mare for Michael and Matthew Pitman.
- Andrew Carston recorded a brace of wins with THAT’S CHARMING in the rating 65 1200 and MAGNETO in the Rating 75 over the same distance.
- The Te Akau Racing trainers Mark Walker and Sam Bergerson also recorded two wins with TIME IS KING in the 1600 metres maiden and STAR IN THE SKY in the last on the programme, the Rating 75 2200 metre race.
- Ashvin Goindasamy rode both Te Akau winners and local apprentice Kendra Bakker also rode two winners. They were ELLUSIVE IMPACT for her boss Lance Robinson and FAYTINA for Virginia Mackle as a replacement for the indisposed Denby-Rose Tait.
