Epilogue post race
- Training duo John and Karen Parsons continued their exceptional record on the Polytrack with two winners. They now have 29 winners on the surface second only to Andrew Carston with 38. FUNFETTI won the Rating 75 2200 metres event under former stable apprentice Tina Comignaghi and EPILOGUE won the last race for northern rider Mereana Hudson.
- Andrew Carston did get a winner on the programme with GENIEINABOTTLE in the maiden 1600. Krishna Mudhoo rode the winner who scored at his 30th start.
- PHAZED was having her second start for local trainer David Walsh in the opening event the Maiden 1200 after having had eight races in Australia. The descendant of wonderful broodmare EIGHT CARAT got that all important win leading most of the way for jockey Rohan Mudhoo.
- Good sponsors Mark Haase, Kyle Marshall and Rohan Welsh are part of the ownership of RED STAR BELLA who won the Entain / NZB Insurance Pearl Series Maiden and the $28,000 bonus which applied to the second race on the programme. Veteran trainer Les Didham prepared the WAR DECREE filly with Terry Moseley getting the first of two winners on the day.
