King Palm post race
- On the fourth day of the 2025 Polytrack season 94 starters competed over 8 races at an average of 11.8 horses per race.
- The leading South Island stable – the Mark Walker and Sam Bergerson Riccarton Park team – prepared two winners QUEEN OF NAPLES and VIVACIOUS both ridden by Brazilian, now New Zealand domiciled, jockey Bruno Queiroz.
- Club Membership Manager Alison Robin was one happy person following the win of BELLUTTA in the Entain/NZB Insurance Pearl Series 1600. Alison is a part owner in the Mike McCann trained mare who was ridden by stable apprentice Roopesh Jaun.
- Rangiora owner Michael Stokes had a good day out after deciding to try his team trained by Kimberley Hodgson on the Polytrack rather than spell them for the winter. That decision proved bountiful with KING PALM winning the sixth race and CLUEDO LANE racing away to a big lead to win the final race on the programme. Both were ridden by Akshay Balloo.
- Yaldhurst conditioner Ross Beckett prepared WANDERIN SPELLE to reward punters after the gelding was backed in from $12 to start at $3.50. Ross owns and bred the three-year-old with wife Cate.
