Proserve ridden by Tina Comignaghi was the 4th winner for the Pitman stable
- The 6th Polytrack raceday of winter 2023 was a Pitman benefit. The father son team prepared four of the eight winners on the programme to move ahead of Andrew Carston on the South Island trainers ladder by 39 wins to 37. Andrew was unable to score on the day.
- WATCH OUT continued her impressive form to beat a small field in the ‘MAAT’ over 1400 metres.
- Lance Robinson a great supporter of the Polytrack trained a brace of winners to take him to 26 for the season.
- A new track record of 2-14.57 was et by longshot FAH LUN over 2200 metres in the opening event.
- Top class South Island rider Tina Comignaghi rode two winners as did Hawkes Bay jockey Kate Hercock.
