- The Carston Stable and Te Akau Racing roadshows rolled on at the 10th Polytrack meeting of 2023.
- The day before heading off on a well-deserved holiday Andrew Carston prepared the winners of three races. TAKE THAT Made it back-to-back wins in the opening with Andrew getting some holiday money as he owns the gelding himself. SINCERRE and Json Lakin won the second and RUSSIAN FABLE took out race 6.
- Kylie Williams rode TAKE THAT and RUSSIAN FABLE and won aboard CASTLE ON THE HILL for Jackie Burrows to complete a trio of wins.
- The Mark Walker and Sam Bergerson combination won the 3rd race with promising three-year-old TALISKER and SORCHA was another to back up from winning the previous week in the last. They got the quinella in that race with FRENCH ROSE.
- Both winners were ridden by stable apprentice Niranjan Parmar.
- Dual code trainer Michael House produced FATHER LENIHAN to take out the Rating 60 1400 metres event with Terry Mosley in the saddle.
- The remaining race on the programme was taken out by SPROCKET ROCKET. Riccarton trainer Mike McCann shares in the ownership with great mate and Winagtui Jockey/Trainer Shankar Muniandy whilst stable rider Rohan Mudhoo did the steering on this occasion.
