Two-Year-Old Quintefeuille was a dominating winner
  • The Annual Banks Peninsula Racing Club fixture was held on the third day of the Riccarton Park summer season.

  • The headline act was provided by the Te Akau Racing southern stable with four winners BEAU BRUMMELL in the opening race the 1600 metres maiden, LADY OF COURT in the 1400 metres maiden QUINTEFEUILLE in the two-year-old and SUPERBLY WRITTEN in the GM Accounting & Consulting Rating 65. All four were ridden by stable apprentice Niranjan Parmar.

  • The feature race the CS Stevens Memorial Banks Peninsula Cup was won the popular and ever consistent EMANON for Lionel Dobs of Orari and Team Pitman apprentice Abdul Najib.

  • MYSTIC PARK won the TAB Southern Alps Challenge Golden Ticket allowing the Matthew and Michael Pitman the luxury of preparing for the $350,000 event on Saturday 13 April knowing the gelding has a start in the race.
