Membership of the Canterbury Jockey Club

We invite you to make an application to the Canterbury Jockey Club for Membership.

Benefits

Complimentary admission to the course and use of Member Areas for all racemeetings held at Riccarton Park. This provision embraces the Ground Floor and Level One of the Club Grandstand, pedestrian access to the Show Gate Reserved Car Park and any other area that may at times be reserved for Member use. 

  • Three entrance tickets to all Riccarton Park racemeetings. Includes the NZ Cup Meeting & Grand National Festival of Racing
  • Free racebooks except over NZ Cup Week and GN Festival
  • Complimentary parking in the Members' Carpark. (This does not refer to the Show Gate Reserved area)
  • Options to purchase Show Gate Reserved Carparking 
  • Use of the “Members Only” Beaumaris Room
  • Card Swipe option for discounts and to go in the draw for a $50 Food & Beverage Voucher every Raceday
  • Special Members-Only offers
  • Reciprocal rights with various other racing Clubs in New Zealand and Australia (some conditions do apply)
  • Members' e-Newsletter 
  • All privileges apply to any of the other Clubs that race at Riccarton Park
  • Note: Young Members are under 30 years and receive 2 tickets for their fee of $160 once the initial joining fee/season has been completed
  • Annual City Member fee is currently $230 per season once the initial joining fee/season has been completed

City Member
$230 + $80 Joining Fee
Complimentary admission to the course and use of Member areas for all race meetings held at Riccarton Park. Includes one Members and two Members Guests Tickets
City and Provincial Member
$270 + $80 Joining Fee
Members receive the same privileges as City Members, as well as invitations to all Provincial Racemeetings
Young City Member (under 30 years)
$160 + $80 Joining Fee
Young Members receive similar privileges to City Members. Members and one Guest ticket to all racemeetings.
Provincial Member
$40
For regional racing from Amberley, Hororata, North Canterbury and Riccarton Turf at Riccarton Park. Does not give Course or Grandstand access over NZ Cup Week or the Grand National Festival.
